Special Education

The Rockets Online Campus is committed to providing a full continuum of special education services, supports, accommodations, and modifications for eligible students from preschool through age 21. Our program ensures that all students with disabilities have access to meaningful learning experiences in a supportive, inclusive, and flexible online environment.

Programs and Related Services

In accordance with federal and state regulations, every student is entitled to a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE). Collaborating closely with families and local school districts, we provide individualized support tailored to each student’s specific educational needs.

All special education students enrolled in Rockets Online Campus have access to a virtual resource room, where they receive individualized or small-group instruction, targeted interventions, and academic support aligned with their IEP goals. The resource room is available every school day, providing a consistent and supportive setting that complements general education instruction and helps students make meaningful progress.

Related services—such as speech and language therapy, physical and occupational therapy, counseling, and other supports—are provided through each student’s home school district, as outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP). Rockets Online Campus works collaboratively with home districts to coordinate the delivery of these services and ensure student needs are met.

Through personalized learning plans, consistent communication with families, and targeted support, our special education students are empowered to overcome challenges, build confidence, and experience greater success in both academic and life skills.
